DCM has three main methods of tour desk operation - at some locations we staff and run the desk entirely and at others we wholesale tour products to properties/agencies that utilise our ticketing and administration systems to maximise their tour desk efficiency for their guests, and .

- Cairns Accommodation Centre
The Accommodation Centre Cairns is DCM’s accommodation, travel and tour planning division. Based at our head office in Cairns, The Accommodation Centre is a hub for visitors to research, plan, and book their itineraries to the Cairns, Great Barrier Reef Region. Through a spread of distribution mediums we service a great variety of clients accommodation needs ranging from caravan parks, backpackers, hostels, share accommodation, hotels, motels, resorts through to exclusive retreats and Great Barrier Reef Island getaways.
Our goal is always to find the most suitable accommodation to suit our clients’ needs, we actively work to support the properties with whom we share common goals by way of our tour desk partnerships.

Online Solutions - Embedded Booking Engine on Your Event Website
- DCM can embed a virtual tour desk / Accommodation engine into your own conference website (by way of javascript coding), allowing your delegates to browse, book and pay for all of their tours, activities or accommodation online. There is NO SET UP FEE.
- Delegates can browse DCM’s entire database of tours and accommodation or your nominated conference specific selection.
- Delegates can Book and Pay instantly online via DCM’s securely encrypted payment portal
- Clients can track all bookings made by way of an agent login facility allowing for detailed, on-demand reporting from any PC.
- All online transactions are linked to your unique event profile and at the conclusion of the event referral commissions are payable to the conference organiser.

- Online Services and Reservations Systems
Born from the need to consolidate our own reservations, vouchering, and accounting processes, and the lack of a suitable shelf product, DCM commenced work on developing it’s own in house reservation solution in 2003. Over the past 5 years our reservation platform www.dcmres.com has been tested in the some of the most complex and dynamic reservation outlets in the Cairns region and is the most widely utilised tour, travel and accommodation booking system in the TNQ region. System in Brief
The reservation system is a web based platform which allows qualified users to log in from anywhere in the world and access their bookings, vouchers, accounts and extensive tailored report functions. Written in PHP and utilises MySQL as the database.
