This 4WD tour will take you deep into the world heritage listed rainforest of Mount Lewis, a restricted access mountain rainforest area famous for its rare and beautiful plants. During the afternoon, we explore this ancient rainforest and search for wildlife, such as the Golden Bowerbird and the Musky Rat Kangaroo. After a picinic dinner in the rainforest, we bigin our night spolighting walk. We search for unique primitive fauna, such as the Daintree Ringtail Possum. As we drive back through the forest at night, we hope to see a selection of nocturnal wildlife, including owls, bandicoots, frogs and pythons.
